Summer School Program (Makuhari / Elementary)

SOLTILO GSA International School (SGIS) is hosting holiday camps where children can experience the lessons and activities of an international school in a global environment. This year, we are introducing many brand-new subjects!

Students joining the Elementary Course will be able to experience the unique curriculum of SSOLTILO GSA International School, an innovative international school that combines the sports program of SOLTILO FAMILIA SOCCER SCHOOL produced by Keisuke Honda, and the English curriculum of Global Step Academy, which is designed to nurture children to become global citizens. Our program makes the best use of the know-how and achievements of SOLTILO GSA International School to offer a unique education based on English and sports.

Classes are conducted by experienced native English speakers to encourage diversity and mindfulness through the interactions of teachers and students of different nationalities and mother tongues.

Curriculum Outline

Explore the World Through English!

Turning “Wonder” and “Discovery” into Lifelong Skills.

SGIS Summer School features an inquiry-based curriculum where students tackle open-ended questions. From the science of water and STEM experiments to creative arts, our weekly themes are designed to dynamically ignite your child’s intellectual curiosity.

By seamlessly blending classroom learning with outdoor sports, students absorb English using all five senses. This is more than just study—it is a genuine, hands-on experience that goes far beyond what any textbook or online lesson can offer.

Physical Education (SOLTILO)
Our physical education program uses the SOLTILO curriculum, which is based on the experience of world-class trainers, Keisuke Honda, and other professional coaches. We first teach our students the joy and pleasure of physical activity, focusing on the improvement of basic athletic skills, teamwork, and mental health care.

Art Program
In this class, you will use many different materials such as salt crystals, marbled foam, snow glitters to make original crafts. Craft your own Winter Wonders Box to store all of your art!

STEM Science

Put on your scientist goggles and get ready to experiment with ice, slush, snow and everything wintery. Let’s discover how ice chemistry works and be amazed by new and exciting experiments and demonstrations!

Literacy

Learn about fairytale elements and how to write your own! Let’s read together the story of The Snow Queen and see if we can recognize characters and patterns.
